The special meals are offered Friday, Feb 14, unless otherwise stated. Reservations are required or strongly recommended.
1. Beaumont’s
Bird Rock is for lovers at Beaumont’s, which is offering Chef Mike’s decadent three-course prix fix menu for $150 per couple, which includes two drinks, one appetizer, two entrees, one dessert and a champagne toast. Live jazz music will start at 9 pm.
2. Cormorant Boutique Hotel
The Cormorant Boutique Hotel is featuring a “Valentine’s Day Escape” getaway package including a bottle of wine in your room upon arrival and complimentary breakfast and mimosas served in-room the next morning.
3. Cove House
Join Cove House for their Valentine’s Dinner Series in the heart of La Jolla Cove. Enjoy a four-course dinner menu crafted by Chef Lance Repp, Chef Manny Perez and Pastry Chef Adriana Peralta. The meal perfectly pairs with a variety of wines from Trefethen Family Vineyards, all for $95 per person.
4. Estancia La Jolla
Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa is offering a few ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day in La Jolla:
Couples can toast to love with a prix fixe culinary experience paired with lush garden views at Greenfinch Restaurant. The evening will feature savory menu highlights like agnolotti carbonara, Spanish-style salt spring mussels, grilled filet mignon and more, followed by sweet treats, for $89 per person.
Spa Estancia is offering the ultimate romantic escape with the Sweet Bliss Couples Bungalow package. Couples can enjoy a private outdoor soak in healing salts with champagne and house-made truffles, followed by a side-by-side 80-minute massage using Estancia’s signature organic romance-inspired oils, all in the serene sanctuary of a private bungalow.
Couples can stay the night with the La Jolla is for Lovers package, featuring in-room amenities like champagne, flowers and custom chocolates.
5. George’s at the Cove
Georges at the Cove invites sweetheart couples for a Valentine’s Day dinner on both Friday, Feb 14 and Saturday, Feb 15. Guests can select one appetizer and two entrées from the regular menu and then enjoy a special Valentine’s Day dessert for $150 per couple. Guests can opt to order a la carte as well, and dinner can be experienced on the rooftop Ocean Terrace or in the recently renovated Level2 dining area. A prix fixe dinner in the enclosed Lower Level is also available for a pre-paid $110 per person, and it must be pre-paid.
6. Hotel La Jolla
Hotel La Jolla, Curio Collection by Hilton is offering lovebirds a Valentine’s Day package including accommodations in a newly renovated guestroom, complimentary bubbles delivered in-room, complimentary parking and late check-out.
7. Isola
Make it a Valentine’s Day to remember at Isola Pizza Bar, where in addition to their full dinner menu, Isola is offering a special three-course dinner just for the holiday. Choose from a salmon bruschetta or burrata with peaches to start; lobster ravioli, sausage tagliatelle or cioppino; and finish with a housemade strawberry gelato.
8. La Valencia
Experience the romance of Valentine’s Day at the Mediterranean Room at La Valencia Hotel, where breathtaking ocean views and an enchanting ambiance set the perfect stage for love. Indulge in an exquisite four-course dinner, thoughtfully crafted by Executive Chef Alex Pailles. Menu offerings include beet tartare, yakitori kissed Iberian pork, King Koa salmon, bone-in short rib and matcha banana cake. Served from 5 to 9 pm for $150 per person.
9. Le Coq
Celebrate love with a feast to remember at Le Coq, where Chef Tara Monsod presents a romantic, four-course French-inspired prix fixe menu. Share an unforgettable evening filled with exquisite flavors and elegant ambiance for $130 per person with an optional $80 wine pairing.
10. The Lodge at Torrey Pines
The Lodge at Torrey Pines is offering sweethearts a special Valentine’s Day in La Jolla with a three-course dinner at The Grill at Torrey Pines by Executive Chef Kelli Crosson, featuring scenic views of Torrey Pines, $135 per person with an optional $65 for wine pairings. Feast on your choice of beef short rib or sea bass for entree and chocolate caramel tart or champagne panna cotta for dessert.
Couples can also take advantage of The Lodge’s Romance Package to make it an even more memorable weekend. Spoil your special someone and make memories with a romantic escape: Start by toasting to your love with an in-room bottle of chilled sparkling wine paired with chocolate-covered strawberries. The package also includes a $70 breakfast credit.
11. Marisi
Enjoy a romantic and unforgettable Valentine’s Day with your loved one(s) at Marisi. In addition to their regular à la carte menu, Executive Chef Cameron Ingle will be offering a special four-course Valentine’s menu with a glass of sparkling rosé for $125 per guest. Exclusive Valentine’s Day menu highlights include steamed saffron mussels, king crab carbonara, pasture raised New York strip with the option to add burgundy black truffle and Baked Alaska.
12. Nautilus Tavern
Nautilus Tavern is throwing a Galentine’s Day Party starting at 6 pm Wednesday, Feb 12, so grab your besties for wine glass painting, truffle fries, and sweet treats. Specials start at $20.
13. Paradisaea
Michelin-guide spot Paradisaea invites you to “Get Lei’d on Valentines Day” with a four-course prix fixe menu for $140 per person. Come celebrate your love with a wonderful tasting menu crafted by Chef Anders Jensen.
14. Sandpiper
Sandpiper Wood Fired Grill & Oysters, a Fodor’s Travel “Best Bet” in La Jolla Shores, will offer Valentine’s Day dinner specials in addition to the regular menu. Enjoy a la carte dishes including hamachi, half chicken and Pavlova.
15. Sea & Sky
Love is in the air, and Sea & Sky invites couples to celebrate Valentine’s Day with an exquisite dining experience overlooking the stunning coastline of La Jolla. For $95 per person, enjoy a specially curated prix fixe menu, with an optional $50 sommelier wine pairing, perfect for a romantic evening to remember. Choose for each of Executive Chef Ernest Lopez’s four courses and leave satisfied and loving every bite.
16. The Shores Restaurant
For Galentine’s Day in La Jolla, The Shores Restaurant in La Jolla Shores is celebrating friendship with its “Chick Flick and Chill” experience. Held on the restaurant’s scenic lawn, this oceanfront gathering offers a unique blend of seaside luxury and relaxed charm, perfect for a memorable girls’ night out.
The experience includes all the essentials for a cozy and indulgent evening: a gourmet charcuterie board filled with savory treats, a bottle of champagne to toast to friendship, and a private firepit for warmth and connection. Guests can also enjoy a s’mores kit for roasting by the fire and watch a classic chick flick under the stars, starting at 6 pm Thursday, Feb 13. Each firepit reservation is $250 and accommodates up to six guests.
The next day, The Shores invites you to celebrate love with a romantic, three-course Valentine’s dinner. Savor seaside flavors and unforgettable views for $70 per person, which includes one glass of bubbles.
17. Zentrl Kitchen + Bar
Zentrl Kitchen + Bar at THE LOT La Jolla is hosting a special prix fixe dinner on Valentine’s Day. The unforgettable evening of romance includes a complimentary glass of Prosecco and choice for each of three courses for $70 per person.
