Driver under the influence hits two parked cars

The driver initially fled the scene during the May 28 incident, returning on foot. He was arrested on DUI charges.

A driver in a white pickup truck ran into two parked cars on westbound Torrey Pines Road just before the Girard Avenue intersection around 8:10 pm May 28.

The suspect fled on foot, according to San Diego police Lt Bryan Brecht, but soon after returned to the scene. 

The driver was arrested for DUI.
