Scripps Health, the only San Diego company honored, earned the national ranking for the 17th time.
Scripps Health has been named one of the top employers in the nation by Fortune magazine for the 17th time. The organization, established in La Jolla, is the only employer in San Diego County included in the 28th annual “100 Best Companies to Work For” list, released April 2.
“Our people are our greatest strength, and we’re proud to continually invest highly in their development, wellbeing and success,” Chris Van Gorder, Scripps Health president and chief executive, said in a statement. “We take great care of our people and they take great care of our patients.”
Scripps Health has more than 20,000 employees and clinicians across San Diego County, and has endeavored to improve workplace safety, support workers in their personal and professional lives, offer professional development opportunities and empower staff to devise new solutions, according to the statement.
