Shell Beach

1000 Coast Blvd. La Jolla, CA 92037

Shell Beach is a little sliver of beauty, and although smaller, it has plenty to enjoy and explore. Best visited during low tide, you’ll get more sand to sunbathe on and more tidepools to explore. If collecting sea shells or sea glass is your thing, this is the place to see what you can find. Rocks in this area can be rough and slippery, so suitable footwear is always recommended.
