Summer in winter is adjourned as low pressure returns to Southern California Wednesday, Feb 11.

The spell of summer-like weather is over, as much-cooler temperatures are predicted starting Wednesday, Feb 11, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will fluctuate between below average and near average, with light to moderate rain expected throughout the day Feb 11 and into Thursday, Feb 12. 

Dry conditions will come Friday and Saturday, Feb 13 and 14, though a more robust trough of low pressure from the Gulf of Alaska will bring more widespread precipitation and gusty winds beginning as early as Saturday evening, Feb 14, with wet and cool weather continuing through the middle of next week. 

Temperatures will stay cooler through at least the middle of next week as well.
