The once-graffitied seaside railings at 939 Coast Blvd have been repaired and repainted in collaboration with Enhance La Jolla and the city.
The La Jolla Coastal Conservancy in collaboration with the city of San Diego and Enhance La Jolla has refreshed the bluffside railings at 939 Coast Blvd just ahead of the summer season.Â

The wooden railings had been marred with graffiti carvings; volunteer Chris Cott applied Bondo filler along the railing and followed with the typical white paint.
The La Jolla Coastal Conservancy works in a public-private partnership with the city of San Diego to carry out privately funded improvement and maintenance projects along the La Jolla shoreline from Coast Walk Trail south to Whale View Point.
