The sale of the La Jolla property at 6026 Camino de la Costa is the largest ever in San Diego County, surpassing a 2023 Del Mar sale.
The San Diego real estate market set another record today, as the sale of 6026 Camino de la Costa in La Jolla closed Sept 12 at $47 million.
The previous record for a La Jolla home sale is the 2024 sales of the Foxhill estate and 8303 La Jolla Shores Dr, each at $35 million and both represented by the Dickinson Clark team.
The most expensive home sale in San Diego County previously was $44.1 million in 2023 in Del Mar.
The 6026 Camino de la Costa transaction, now the largest single family home sale in San Diego County, was represented by Ross Clark, along with Brett Dickinson, of Dickinson Clark, for the seller; and Rob Aumann, along with Clark, for the buyer.
Clark told lajolla.ca he had no comment on the sale.
The waterfront Camino de la Costa home has four bedrooms and nine bathrooms and spreads across 13,237 square feet on a 0.47-acre lot.
The La Jolla property was last sold in 2005 for $17.9 million, according to Zillow; the house was built in 2009.
