Two adults, one child taken to hospital after large tree branch snaps

The extent of the injuries resulting from the June 29 incident at Villa La Jolla Park are unknown.

A large tree branch snapped in Villa La Jolla Park on Via Mallorca June 29, sending three people to the hospital.

San Diego Fire-Rescue crews responded shortly after the 2:08 pm call, according to department spokesperson Candace Hadley.

Two adults and one child were transported to a nearby hospital, with an adult and the child in acute condition. Their current status is unknown.
