Police are still searching for the alleged armed robber.
San Diego police are searching for a man in connection with an alleged armed robbery at Nordstrom Rack at 8875 Villa La Jolla Drive in La Jolla, as of 4:30 pm Oct 29.
Police received a call around 3:15 pm reporting a robber “threatened the loss prevention with a black pistol.”
The suspect took items from Nordstrom Rack and left, according to San Diego Police Lt. Bryan Brecht. loss prevention personnel followed the suspect outside to apprehend him; the suspect produced a hand gun and pointed it at loss prevention before leaving the area.
Shortly thereafter, neighbors reported on social media hearing a SDPD aircraft circling the area looking for a “felony suspect,” described as a young male wearing a blue beanie, camouflage jacket and tan pants; the announcement urged anyone who spotted the suspect to call police immediately.
