A dispute over a street vendor’s presence led to a misdemeanor charge of battery on a peace officer.
A San Diego Park Ranger was pushed while impounding a street vendor’s cart around 6 p.m. July 21 at the corner of Coast Boulevard and Jenner Street in La Jolla, near The Children’s Pool.Â
The Ranger did not sustain any injuries, according to a San Diego Police Department spokesperson.
It is not clear whether the vendor was the one to touch the Ranger. The person was arrested and booked into San Diego County jail.
