An exposed live wire threat at Nativa Interiors at 7770 Girard Ave. led to a swift, large response June 28, during which several emergency vehicles necessitated the temporary closure of Girard.

The call was reported at 11:29 a.m.; the first unit arrived seven minutes later, according to incident information from the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

In total, 33 personnel, five engines and two trucks arrived on scene, including a medic and two battalion chiefs.

SDFD closed the incident at 1:10 p.m. and SDG&E workers were expected on scene to address the problem around that time.
