The 21st annual San Diego Food + Wine Festival returns to the waterfront Sunday, Nov 2 through Sunday, Nov 9, with eight La Jolla-based chef and restaurant participants among fellow culinary stars, Michelin-trained chefs, James Beard Award winners and Baja’s top talent.
Slated to attend from La Jolla is Elijah Arizmendi of Lucien; Stefano Ceresoli of Piazza 1909; Alec Hurley of Beach Break Market and Deeply Nourished; Tara Monsod of Le Coq; Maeve Rochford of Sugar & Scribe; Alfie Szeprethy of the forthcoming Roppongi Restaurant & Lounge; and teams from La Corriente and Marisi.
The San Diego Food + Wine Festival has grown over two decades to become one of the largest luxury wine and food events in the US, according to its website, attracting nearly 12,000 attendees and generating more than 6,000 hotel rooms booked for the city of San Diego.
