The popular chain of restaurants has begun serving at its 20th San Diego location.
Those eagerly anticipating the opening of the Chick-fil-A La Jolla Village will wait no longer: it’s now open at 3351 Nobel Dr. for dine-in, carry-out or delivery from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays.
The La Jolla Village restaurant joins 19 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider San Diego market; this one names Jared Ciervo as the independent franchised local owner and operator.
The La Jolla Chick-fil-A employs about 115 full- and part-time team members; Ciervo will work daily with them to offer the same Chick-fil-A quality to the La Jolla community, according to a press release.Â
In celebration of the July 18 opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Feeding San Diego, a Feeding America partner food bank.
Ciervo’s restaurant will also participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits.Â
In addition, Chick-fil-A La Jolla Village will recognize 100 local heroes making an impact in the San Diego area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
