The local festival will be held Oct. 5 and 6.
A dozen of La Jolla’s restaurants will put their best bites forward at the second Del Mar Wine & Food Festival, held Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6 at the Surf Sports Park in Del Mar.
The festival will also host special events from Oct. 2 to 7 throughout San Diego, including at two renowned La Jolla restaurants:
“Marisi’s Fall Harvest with Iconic Italian Wine Pio Cesare” will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at Marisi on Wall Street. The all-inclusive experience features a tray-passed reception in the bar, followed by a five-course, family-style dinner by Executive Chef Cameron Ingle accompanied by wine pairings from Pio Cesare.
“A Night of Divine Art + Cuisine” will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at The Kitchen at MCASD on Prospect Street. Urban Kitchen Group will team up with female chefs Maneet Chauhan, Sharon Wilson, Kelli Crosson, and Aly Lyng to explore cuisines from around the world. The evening starts with a VIP tour of the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and continues with a four-course sunset dinner with wines expertly paired by Innumero Wines and the Setting Wines.
