La Jolla Village Drive to/from south I-5 closed Friday to Monday

Caltrans will close the on- and off-ramps to and from southbound Interstate 5 starting at 9 pm Friday, March 7, through 5 am Monday, March 10.

Caltrans will close the southbound Interstate 5 onramp from eastbound La Jolla Village Drive, the southbound I-5 onramp from westbound La Jolla Village Drive and the southbound I-5 far right lane for construction, starting at 9 pm Friday, March 7, through 5 am Monday, March 10.

The work, originally scheduled to begin Feb 28, was postponed by a week due to anticipated rain.

Eastbound motorists will continue on La Jolla Village Drive, turn right on Lebon Drive and then turn right on Noble Drive, continuing westbound on Noble Drive to the southbound I-5 on-ramp.

Westbound motorists will continue on La Jolla Village Drive, turn left on Villa La Jolla Drive and then turn left onto Noble Drive, continuing eastbound on Noble Drive to the southbound I-5 on-ramp.

Villa La Jolla between La Jolla Village Drive and Nobel is still congested due to storm drain repair.
