San Diego first responders were on hand April 11 to assist with an intoxicated man.
The San Diego police reported a misdemeanor DUI Alcohol/Drug infraction at 9:14 a.m. near the 1100 block of Virginia Way.
lajolla.ca observed a police car pulling the man over in his vehicle; the man then accelerated away onto High Street, where he pulled over near the intersection with Pearl Street.
Several officers then attended to the man, who was taken away in an ambulance as his truck was towed away on a flatbed.
San Diego police did not return requests for more details.
