spray painted 'slow down' signs on a neighborhood street in bird rock La Jolla

A 42-year-old woman has entered a “not guilty” plea after her arrest for allegedly spray-painting the words “slow down” appeared in capital letters on several Bird Rock streets.

The woman was arrested on two counts of misdemeanor vandalism and charged March 15, entering the plea March 18, according to city attorney spokesperson Andrew Sharp, who corrected earlier information provided by the San Diego police that the counts were felonies.
