The 72- player field for the relocated event, set for Feb 13-16 at Torrey Pines Golf Course, currently includes 44 of the top 50 ranked golfers.
Dozens of the best global golfers are preparing to take on the PGA Tour’s 2025 Genesis Invitational in La Jolla, including Harris English, who won the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open Jan 25 on the same course.
The Genesis Invitational, hosted by Tiger Woods, is temporarily relocated to the Torrey Pines Golf Course South Course this year as its normal home, The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, is currently closed due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.
The Genesis Invitational will be played Thursday, Feb 13 through Sunday, Feb 16.
In addition to English, three past Genesis winners including 2024 champion Hideki Matsuyama, 2021 champion Max Homa and 2005 and 2020 winner Adam Scott will play.Â
Other notable players include Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Scottie Scheffler and Justin Thomas.
In total, the 72-player field for the signature event includes 44 players in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking, with 13 major championship winners. The commitment deadline is Friday, February 7.Â
