Setting the table to showcase the best of their menus, seven La Jolla joints are preparing for the 2024 San Diego Food + Wine Festival, with one hosting its own La Jolla event.
The San Diego Food + Wine Festival has grown over two decades to become one of the largest luxury wine and food events in the U.S., according to its website, attracting nearly 12,000 attendees and generating over 6,000 hotel rooms booked for the city of San Diego.
The 2024 version will be held over nine days starting Saturday, Nov 2., with the Grand Fiesta Sunday, Nov 10.
From La Jolla, the lineup includes Deeply Nourished, Eddie V’s Prime Seafood, Le Coq, Marisi, Piazza 1909, Puesto and The Whaling Bar.
Marisi is also hosting “A Culinary Journey from CO to CA” starting at 5 pm Thursday, Nov 7, at 1044 Wall St. Marisi Executive Chef Cameron Ingle and Colorado chef Matt Vawter, James Beard Foundation’s 2024 Best Chef, have collaborated on an a la carte menu paired with wines curated by Marisi’s sommelier, Chris Plaia, and Ray Isle, executive wine editor for Food and Wine Magazine and author of ‘The World in a Wineglass.”
