The usual evening of music, food and conservation will take a hike off the trail to the La Jolla Historical Society, where Alison Brown will perform.

The annual fundraiser for La Jolla’s Coast Walk Trail is now selling tickets and will feature a new location and format.

“Cockails Off Coast Walk” is set for 6 pm Thursday, Sept 25, in the garden at the La Jolla Historical Society. The event will include a concert by the Alison Brown Quintet, dinner and cocktail and silent auction.

The fundraiser to support the historic La Jolla trail, normally held on the trail itself, will also announce the expansion of the new La Jolla Coastal Conservancy nonprofit, dedicated to protecting the local coastline.

Proceeds from the event support Friends of Coast Walk Trail’s efforts to preserve and maintain the trail, including projects like repairing the trail bridge.
