Local artisans put their best items forward at the annual event.

Dozens perused gifts from local artisans at the annual “Art in the Garden” event Dec 7.

Sponsored by the Bird Rock Artist Guild, the holiday shopping afternoon took place at a private Bird Rock home, where live musicians entertained as attendees snacked on refreshments and chose from holiday creations, handmade soaps, homemade treats, home and garden decor, pottery, jewelry and more.
