Cliff Hanger Cafe is located 350 feet above the bluffs, sharing space with the Torrey Pines Gliderport, where you can watch gliders prepare for take-off, soar along the coast, and come in for a landing after an invigorating flight. The Cliff Hanger Café is a casual full-service deli café that offers lunch and snack food. Their delicious sandwiches, fresh salads, and soups are underrated. Their deck has ample space to sit and enjoy gliders soaring overhead while having some light bites. The one downside to the Cliff Hanger Café is the lack of a clean restroom. However, several portable bathrooms are located in the dirt parking lot.

The Grill at Torrey Pines is a cabin style casual restaurant located at The Lodge at Torrey Pines with sweeping views of the healthy green grounds of the Torrey Pines Golf Course with ocean views in the distance. It’s a casual and peaceful setting with indoor and courtyard dining areas. Guests can also keep warm and lounge by the fireplace after their meal for a nightcap. The Grill is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with flavorful food cooked over an open fire in their custom-built wood-burning rotisserie. They also have local live music from Wednesday to Saturday from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm for even more fun.

Goldfish Point Cafe is located right along Coast Blvd overlooking La Jolla Cove. It’s got a laid back living room vibe with space outside to sit and enjoy coastal views. This is a higher-traffic area as it’s directly across from the cove, but easy to pop up from the beach if you want to grab a light bite or cold drink. You can get sandwiches for breakfast and lunch, paninis, salads, coffee, juice, and tea. They serve their sandwiches with goldfish crackers, putting the Goldfish in Goldfish Point Cafe.
