It’s time for spring cleaning on the Coast Walk Trail! The Friends of Coast Walk trail is organizing their 2nd annual weed-pulling party to keep the trail looking beautiful. The frequent rains have brought a stunning bloom of flowers, lush greens…and weeds. So if you love the Coast Walk Trail and feel like getting your hands dirty while catching some sun and enjoying the ocean air, come out to volunteer your time to this La Jolla gem.

Participants can work in teams to fill 50 bags of weeds and garbage. Trail ambassadors will be onsite to provide shade tents, snacks, and cold beverages for all volunteers. There will be a raffle for a shirt and poster giveaway and a history hike following the clean-up for anyone interested in learning more about the history of the Coast Walk Trail.
