The 25th Annual San Diego International Film Festival premieres in La Jolla Oct 13-18, marking its silver anniversary with its biggest celebration yet, welcoming Hollywood to San Diego while continuing its mission to use the power of film to entertain, inspire, challenge and bring people together.
Experience major studio premieres, acclaimed independent features, documentaries and shorts from around the world, complemented by celebrity tributes, filmmaker conversations, panels, parties, culinary experiences and special initiatives that reflect the festival’s growing influence both on screen and beyond.
The festival opens with its signature star-studded red carpet evening, “Night of the Stars Tribute,” celebrating accomplished actors, directors, and filmmakers, including presentation of the prestigious Gregory Peck Award of Excellence in Cinema, with the support of the Peck family.
SDIFF continues Wednesday, Oct 14 with its opening night film premiere and party and more films, panels and events through the festival’s close four days later.
