The Bird Rock Community Council presents the 5th annual BirdStock Music Festival, a free street festival taking place along La Jolla Boulevard in the Bird Rock neighborhood.
Neighbors can settle in for family-friendly activities like a pumpkin patch, a custom hat bar, a pet adoption zone and a street tennis area, plus a book reading with local authors. Live music carries across five stages featuring a mix of local bands, while local vendors and artists line the street for shopping throughout the day.
New this year, the BMX Pros Trick Team performs live stunts, and OktoBIRDFest debuts a beer and wine garden with local brews and festive fare.
Proceeds from the nonprofit event support a local school, coastline preservation efforts, and the surrounding community.
