A quick scramble down the sandstone will take you to the more secluded Boomer Beach. This smaller beach is a nice quiet alternative to nearby crowds but has its own action to enjoy. Nearby Point La Jolla is a favorite among the seals and sea lions which you can watch climbing and lazing on the rocks. You might also catch experienced body surfers braving the rougher waves here.
