Birch Aquarium at Scripps brings back its Marine Science Club for a second season, with a six-week Aquarium Adventure Club series designed for ocean lovers ages 8 to 10. Sessions run every Saturday starting September 12, guided by experienced aquarium educators.
Activities range from animal encounters and aquarist talks to dissections, with each week bringing something different. Every session includes either a craft keepsake or exclusive behind-the-scenes access, and kids are welcome to join a single session or the full series.
Each session is $25 per child and includes aquarium admission for the participant, though accompanying guests need a separate ticket to visit before or after.
