A true home-grown cafe, Cala La Jolla Cafe is now open in the historic Arcade building on Girard Avenue in The Village.

The teal accents aren’t the only bright spot: Cala offers coffee drinks, brunch-worthy food items from in-house chefs, pastries from the French Gourmet and curated pour overs that invite customers to relax and stay a while.

Owned by La Jolla resident Amy de Leon, Cala features a large mural de Leon painted herself and various artistic components created by other community members.
